Big Centre TV is the local TV channel for Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Solihull and The Black Country. It broadcasts on Freeview channel 8 in the UK.
Ofcom-licensed in 2014, it launched in February 2015. It is owned by Kaleidoscope TV Ltd, and headquartered at Walsall Studio School in the West Midlands. This unique studio school is a key partner for Kaleidoscope TV. Catering for 14-19 year olds, it enables young people to achieve industry-recognised qualifications, build relationships with employers and get into employment or university. Big Centre TV utilises the school’s state-of-the-art technical facilities and students train alongside experienced TV broadcasters professionals.
